ARÊTES pieces are designed and manufactured with specialised partners in the canton of Vaud, Switzerland. Each product combines design, engineering and local manufacturing expertise.

Unless otherwise stated on the product page, ARÊTES pieces are made from AISI 304 stainless steel with a directional brushed finish. The material is selected for its durability, structural performance and timeless appearance.

The directional brushing interacts with light and may create subtle variations depending on the viewing angle. Minor differences in tone and texture are inherent to the material and manufacturing process, making each piece slightly unique.

Use a soft microfiber cloth with water and a small amount of mild soap. Wipe in the direction of the brushed finish and dry the surface afterwards. Avoid abrasive sponges, steel wool, chlorine-based products and aggressive cleaning chemicals.

Stainless steel is durable, but its surface can develop light marks through normal use. Avoid dragging hard or abrasive objects across it. Do not polish or refinish the surface without contacting ARÊTES first, as this could alter the directional brushing.

All accessible edges are deburred and finished. However, the stainless-steel construction retains defined edges and corners as part of its architectural form. Handle and position each piece with care, particularly in homes with children.

Freestanding tables and objects do not require assembly. Place them on a stable, level surface and lift rather than drag them when moving.

For wall-mounted products, product-specific mounting components are included. Wall plugs and wall screws are not included because the appropriate fixing system depends on the wall construction and intended load. Professional installation is recommended.

Yes. Free standard delivery is included for all orders within Switzerland. 
We currently do not deliver outside Switzerland.

Production generally takes 2–4 weeks, followed by 1–3 business days for delivery within Switzerland. If you have a specific deadline, require a different delivery arrangement or need your order urgently, please contact us before placing your order so that we can confirm feasibility.

ARÊTES does not currently charge VAT. The price displayed on the product page is therefore the final price, including FREE delivery within Switzerland.

Inspect the packaging and product when your order arrives. If you notice any damage, photograph both the packaging and the product before using it or disposing of the packaging. Contact info@aretes.ch as soon as possible and include your order number and photographs.
