At ARÊTES, every piece of furniture is manufactured with great care and attention to detail. Please read this policy carefully before placing your order.
1. Made-to-Order Products
Unless otherwise stated, all ARÊTES products are manufactured specifically after an order has been placed.
As our products are made to order, orders may be cancelled free of charge before production has started. Once production has begun, the order becomes final and cannot be cancelled.
2. Returns
Under Swiss law, customers do not have a statutory right to return goods or withdraw from an online purchase simply because they have changed their mind. ARÊTES does not offer voluntary returns for non-defective products.
For this reason, we encourage customers to carefully review product dimensions, specifications, materials and finishes before placing an order.
3. Damaged or Defective Products
Please inspect your order upon delivery.
If your product arrives:
- damaged during transport,
- defective,
- or does not correspond to your confirmed order,
please contact us within 5 calendar days of delivery at:

- a description of the issue,
- clear photographs of the product and packaging.
We will assess the claim and, where appropriate, arrange one of the following remedies:
- repair,
- replacement,
- partial refund,
- or full refund,
in accordance with applicable Swiss law.
4. Custom Furniture
Furniture manufactured according to the customer's specific dimensions, drawings or specifications cannot be returned or refunded unless the product is defective or does not conform to the agreed specifications.
5. Refunds
Where a refund is approved, it will be issued using the original payment method whenever possible.
Refunds are processed after the returned product has been received and inspected, where applicable.
Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider.
6. Warranty
Nothing in this Return & Refund Policy limits or excludes any mandatory rights available to consumers under applicable Swiss law regarding defective products.
