2. Scope
These Terms apply to all products and services offered by ARÊTES through this website.
Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory rights granted to consumers under applicable Swiss law.
3. Products and Services
ARÊTES designs, manufactures and supplies premium furniture, interior products and bespoke design solutions.
Certain products and services are manufactured, produced or developed specifically after an order has been confirmed or according to customer requirements.
Product descriptions, photographs, renderings, dimensions, materials and finishes are presented as accurately as possible. Minor variations resulting from manufacturing processes, natural material characteristics, lighting conditions, screen settings or reasonable production tolerances do not constitute defects.
Where dimensions are indicated, reasonable manufacturing tolerances may apply.
4. Prices
All prices displayed on this website are in Swiss Francs (CHF).
Unless otherwise stated:
- Prices include any applicable taxes.
- Shipping costs are calculated separately during checkout.
If ARÊTES is not registered for Swiss VAT, no VAT is charged.
Prices may be updated at any time without prior notice. The price confirmed at the time an order is placed shall apply.
5. Orders
Submitting an order constitutes an offer to purchase products or services.
An order becomes binding only after ARÊTES has accepted it by sending an order confirmation by email.
ARÊTES reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order in exceptional circumstances, including but not limited to:
- pricing or technical errors;
- product or material unavailability;
- suspected fraudulent activity;
- circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
6. Payment
Payment must be completed using one of the payment methods offered during checkout.
Ownership of the products remains with ARÊTES until full payment has been received.
7. Manufacture and Customization
Unless otherwise specified, products are manufactured after an order has been confirmed.
Customers may cancel an order free of charge before production has commenced.
Once manufacturing or customization has started, the order becomes final and cannot be cancelled.
Products or services manufactured or developed according to customer-specific dimensions, drawings, specifications or other individual requirements cannot be returned unless they are defective or do not conform to the agreed specifications.
8. Shipping and Delivery
Estimated delivery times are provided for information purposes only.
Although ARÊTES makes every reasonable effort to meet the estimated delivery dates, delays may occur due to manufacturing, transport, customs procedures, suppliers or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Such delays do not entitle the customer to cancel the order or claim compensation unless otherwise required by applicable law.
9. Inspection Upon Delivery
Customers are requested to inspect their order immediately upon delivery.
Any transport damage, manufacturing defect or non-conformity should be reported within five (5) calendar days of delivery by emailing:

ARÊTES will review each claim and, where appropriate, provide a repair, replacement, partial refund or full refund in accordance with applicable Swiss law.
10. Returns and Refunds
Returns and refunds are governed by the Return & Refund Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.
11. Warranty
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any mandatory warranty rights available under applicable Swiss law.
12. Intellectual Property
All content available on this website, including but not limited to product designs, concepts, drawings, photographs, renderings, logos, trademarks, graphics, texts and other materials, is the property of ARÊTES or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
No content may be copied, reproduced, distributed, modified, published or otherwise used without the prior written permission of ARÊTES.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ARÊTES shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages arising from the use of this website or from the purchase or use of its products or services.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where such exclusion is prohibited by applicable law.
14. Privacy
The collection and processing of personal information are governed by our Privacy Policy.
15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Switzerland.
Any dispute arising from these Terms or the use of this website shall be submitted to the competent courts of Switzerland, unless mandatory provisions of applicable law provide otherwise.
